LEV systems are designed to protect workers from hazardous dust and fumes. The law is that the employer must maintain LEV system performance and should also arrange a thorough examination and test at least every 14 months. To quote the HSE, “Regulation 9 of COSHH requires that any control measure taken to comply with regulation 7 must be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. LEV systems should be examined and tested at least once every 14 months.”Â
Western Air Ducts know that most managers have more to do than simply monitor when their various statutory inspections are due and as such decided to invest in developing an online resource to alert and support managers with their COSHH LEV requirements.
LEVLog® is an online platform specifically designed to help manage this requirement. Via a dedicated log in area, our unique, browser based system has the facility to remotely store current and past inspection records, highlight systems that have failed or are overdue inspections and automatically sends reminders for when inspections are due. This ensures that if/when the HSE visit you have access to current and past reports and can provide evidence that you are undertaking your statutory responsibilities in respect to the inspection and maintenance of your COSHH LEV systems.
As a customer of Western Air Ducts (UK) Ltd. your inspection reports are automatically uploaded to and you are enrolled in this service.
