At Western Air Ducts we feel we have a responsibility to reduce our own carbon footprint and, when we first designed and built our new manufacturing and office facility in Frome, it was designed to utilise lower energy consumption through intelligent lighting and heating, improved insulation to retain heat. Following on from this ethos we are pleased to announce we have just had installed a new solar powered system incorporating 82 solar panels on our roof. The energy captured with these panels should generate enough power to reduce our requirement from the grid by 50%.
