UKCG Group realised it was time to retire their ageing dust filtration unit and wanted a cost effective efficient replacement. Of vital importance was keeping the valuable graphite dust collected by the system dry as this waste product has a value and is sold to their customers for the manufacture of brake pads.
By specifying an Inteliair® I40 dust filtration unit fitted with a rotary discharge valve mounted on top of a new bespoke sealed housing for the 1-Tonne waste collection bags the designers at Western Air Ducts Ltd. were able to install a compact, efficient dust filtration system and the Group Manufacturing Manager is able to declare that “the extraction is running extremely well”.
