After overcoming the initial issue of extinguishing a fire in their dust extraction system Shred-it were left with the problem of not having an operational dust extraction system to serve their recycling facility. Western Air Ducts (UK) Ltd. were able to attend promptly and work with the staff at Shred-It it to establish a plan for removing and disposing of the fire damaged equipment followed by the installation of new equipment with additional fire prevention features incorporated to minimise the risk of a recurrence.
With the help of our partners at Camfil APC, Raille and Reinbold we were able to specify, supply and install a replacement system with increased efficiency and spark detection and suppression systems in a timely manner.
